Welcome! I am a Registered Social Worker who has worked in the mental health field in Calgary for over 15 years. As a professional, I strive to help people with their healing journeys, whether it is something that has happened recently, or if it has been something you have been coping with for most of your life.

My Approach
My intention is to walk alongside you in your healing journey. Therapy can be uncomfortable at times, but you are always in the driver’s seat. You hold key knowledge and insight into your own life. I am here to help guide you, but always with your input and consent.
I am dedicated to building a collaborative, compassionate and non-judgmental relationship with my clients as they transform their relationship with painful emotions and experiences. I work with you to understand the impact of trauma, mental health and emotional dysregulation while supporting you in healing and building a renewed story of your life. I specialize in working in the area of trauma across the lifespan, and the often-coinciding challenges that can exist within this sphere, including anxiety, depression, and behavioural and relationship challenges.
I am trained in a multitude of approaches and modalities to help inform my work with each individual client. These include modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy for Individuals (EFIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Therapy is unique to the individual, and I will always work with you to find an approach that best suits your needs and goals.

I will always accept you as you are, without judgment. We all have unique experiences and perspectives, and I embrace this diversity with an open heart and mind. I firmly believe each individual is doing the best that they can with what they know. In order to make lasting change, feeling accepted is essential.

Safety is both physical and emotional in nature, and the therapy space should provide you with feelings of both. My office has comfortable seating and natural light, a receptionist and complimentary parking, coffee and tea. If you prefer, you also have the choice to join me virtually from the comfort and safety of your own home.
